Light Meter – This accessory is the most important thing that you need in order to succeed with growing plants indoors. A light tester will test the effectiveness of your light and let you know if your plants are getting enough light or too little light. If they won't get enough light you can purchase grow lights.

Reflectors – Every light system should have reflectors because they increase the intensity of the light and heat that your plants receive.

Timer – Probably the most important part of growing plants indoors, a timer will help you to always make sure that your plants are receiving light especially on days where you’re away from your home and unable to turn the lights on yourself.

Almost every plant, herb, vegetable or fruit can be grown indoors if it receives the right amount of light from an LED lighting system on a daily basis.

Before getting started, make sure that the plants that you’re growing have proper drainage in their pots buy drilling drain holes at the bottom of their pots or purchasing pots with pre-made drain holes. It’s also important to use potting soil and not regular soil from outdoor because potting soil has the nutrients that plants need to thrive when growing inside.

Before planting any seed, make sure that you read the seeds package just to confirm how much light it will need on a daily basis. Plants need darkness just like every other living thing on the planet does so remember to give your plants are least eight hours of darkness per day and they will thank you.
